Privacy Policy

Who we are

Studio Napoli is an independent atelier based in Naples, Italy. We design brands, build websites, and ship products. What data we collect

This website is deliberately light. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party fingerprinting. The data we receive falls into three small buckets:

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and uptime monitoring. These logs are retained for no longer than 30 days and never used for profiling.
• Email correspondence. When you write to us, we keep your message and email address for as long as the working relationship continues, plus a reasonable retention period to honour our records and contractual obligations.
• Booking via Cal.com. If you book a 30-minute call, Cal.com Inc. processes your name, email, and chosen time slot on its own infrastructure under its own privacy policy. We see the resulting calendar event.

What we don't collect

No analytics. No advertising IDs. No social media pixels. No newsletter list. No retargeting. No fingerprinting scripts. No A/B testing tools. No session recording. The site sets no cookies of its own — see the Cookie Policy for the small list of third-party assets it loads.

Legal basis

Under Article 6 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our processing is based on:

• Legitimate interest for server log retention (security and uptime).
• Performance of a contract for client correspondence and project work.
• Your consent, where applicable, for any optional interaction you initiate (writing us, booking a call).

Sharing your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. The only third parties that may see your data are operational service providers we depend on:

• Our hosting provider (server logs).
• Google Workspace (we read and reply to your email there).
• Cal.com Inc. (only if you book a call).
• Google Fonts (the browser fetches our typography from Google's CDN; this involves a request to Google's servers — see the Cookie Policy).

When the law or a competent authority compels disclosure, we comply and inform you where permitted.

Where your data is held

Our hosting and Google Workspace data is processed within the European Union or under EU-approved transfer mechanisms. Cal.com data may be processed in the United States under standard contractual clauses, as described in their privacy policy.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, gpdp.it). To exercise any of these rights, write to ciaostudionapoli@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. If the change is significant, we will note it visibly on the homepage for at least two weeks.

If you have any doubt about how we handle your data, ask. The person who replies will be one of the founders, and we will give you a real answer.
